I set aside all 1990 nickels as I go through a box and then examine each one with a loupe for the 1990 no/missing "FS" error which I've read about on numerous sites. I've gone through around 180 1990 nickels and while all of them show rather clearly the typical FS engraver's initials below Jefferson's neck, the coin I have found (see pics) and scrutinized again and again appears to be the real thing.

So... Yes or No? Any explanations appreciated as well.

While your' 1990-D Jefferson Nickel has seen a lot of wear and suffered quite a bit of damage, I truly believe that it is in fact a "No FS" Nickel!

Woot woot!!!

Wish there was a value listing on it, but either way it's a fun piece to help grow my collection.

Thanks!
