Have looked around for a larger list of VDI readings for Teknetics T2 with no luck. So I started recording my finds. I hope this helps.


Silver half, standing: 92
Silver half, capped: 91-92

Clad dollar: 89-90
Clad quarter: 88-89
Large cent, draped: 88-90

The one thing that jumps out at me is your readings for dimes. I don't think I've ever dug a clad dime with such a high reading. Also, your nickel (non-silver) readings seem high. I get the 54-56 with most often a solid 55. My clad dimes come up 80-82 with more often being a solid 80.

You know I've had conversations with T2 owners who have said their readings were a little different. I found the dimes can vary. Nickels have often enough been all over the place. Thanks for the input!

For me draped bust large cents show up as 86. And later large cents show up as 88. They changed the diameter of large cents later on, I do not remember the exact year.

These are the readings on my T2 SE
