It is from Israel, the date being 1978. It's worth only around 25 cents, but interesting, coming from the Coin Star machine. I once found a Fijian coin in there, along with another Israeli coin and quite a few dollars in quarters. I was happy as could be, until the guy came back in! He took everything but the Fijian coin, which he said I could keep. Not too bad...
