Think I have a King George copper. It is 27 - 28mm. Its not perfectly round. Hard to tell its so beat up. The pictures are the best I could take. Any info is helpful. Thanks for looking.

Yep, It's a George III Hibernia Halfpenny - 1766 or 1769. (1766 is more common so likely that)

Is it worth trying to clean it a little better? Possibly soak it in Hydrogen Peroxide? or is it so spent it isn't worth the try?
