If you have a bank nearby with an international department, they may give you a bid on your coins; or, at least, give you a local lead as to where you can exchange them for US currency. (Expect a 'transaction' fee.)

Right now, the exchange rate is 14.66 New Pesos to the US Dollar.

Over the past several years of CRH I've accumulated a large handful of recent dated Mexican coins ( 1980 to current ), and was thinking of getting rid of them for U.S. money. Is there a web site that can tell me their US face values, so I have an idea of what to expect, face vs face?

It is my understanding that anything older than 1993 is essentially worthless. Anything 1993 or later is roughly $14.66 pesos per 1 US dollar.

You are better off consigning the lot of mixed foreign coin and salting it with some inconsequential silver so you tell the auctioneer that there is silver in the lot. I mix in 30 - 50 coins and bidding averages $20 with only a 10% consignment rate.

As 'jerseyben' mentioned, all 'old peso' Mexican coins (MXP) became obsolete in 1993. You had three years to trade them in for new pesos (MXN) before they became worthless as coins; excluding their metal value, if any.

You are correct. The old peso was about 3000 to the dollar before they changed it to the new peso. So, I guess the exchange rate for the old peso would be 14.66 x 3000 to the dollar. HAHAHA

The banks near me will not exchange coins, only paper currency. Another option is private buyers on CL.
