So I was going through some of my fathers old coins that my mother gave me and found this one. I have been unable to identify it and I am hoping that the experts here will have some input.
A little closer to yours might be this one: RIC 177b, RSC 15 AR Antoninianus Obv: CVALENSHOSTILMESQVINTVSNC, radiate and draped bust right. Rev: MARTIPROPVGNATORI, Mars advancing right, holding spear in right hand and shield on left arm.
Notice the spear stays atop the shield in this one (like yours) versus the position of the shield in my first post.
Granted, a very subtle difference.
