Well current melt is 133.44 so you didn't do too bad.

I don't consider silver a bargain if you pay more than melt. Considering the wear, you probably got about $130 in Silver. With the semi key in Terrible condition included I would say break even at best.

Thanks for your response. I'll probably hold on to them for a while before reselling them. HH, Zach

It'll take some convincing to sell them at anything more than a blank. Great looking coins but unfortunately not worth much more than the silver content.

Thanks for your response. Since silver has been dropping lately, looks like I'm stuck with them for a while. This was the first time I ever got a full roll of slq, and I have always wanted some. Although most are dateless I think they are one of the best looking US coins. HH, Zach

hopefully you will view this as a learning experience. you would have been better off buying one nice standing quarter for $155 than to buy the roll of junk that you bought. Most dates in AU run $75 to
$125 certified, and you can get MS63's for around $250 - I've bought plenty of junk in my life also - but if I care about getting my money back I buy nicer coins and I either get them certified or I buy them
certified. With a lot of these rolls on ebay - you just don't know what you are going to get. Most of the rolls are put together buy dealers, so there aren't going to be many treasures. what you bought was a roll of junksilver except the 24s. learning lessons can be very costly - this I know from personal experience.

Sorry I haven't responded, just wanted to let everyone know I sold all the dateless coins and kept the type 1 coins and dated coins. Had a few other dateless coins laying around and managed to put a full roll together and sold it for 145$. I didn't do as bad as I thought. Managed to get most of my money back and still have the 24s which is worth around 15$ plus the other coins I kept worth scrap. HH, Zach.

I bought a roll a while ago from a dealer who said they were all dateless at the flea market. There was a really faint 1921 standing liberty and a 1919 as well. I swapped out the 1919 but I still have the 21. I was very pleased with that roll!

Outstanding Find, that's one of the main reasons I'm buying slq's listed as dateless cause you never know what you can find. Maybe some day I'll get a 1923s!!! HH, and have a good day. Zach

Thanks and the same with you. Hope you have fun getting into CRH, saw your post. I CRH myself and enjoy pulling out coins that you would never expect to see in circulation still. HH and have a good day, Zach.
