Coinstudy says .38-$52. Then I googled 1917 s penny and see way different prices

you are closer to 38 cents than 52 dollars on this one. yes, its a nice coin, it will fill a space in a Whitman folder, but that's about it.

Although there is no pic of the Reverse, I assume the coin would grade based on the pic of the Obverse! With that in mind, the coin appears to be close to a VF-20 but slightly porous and was slightly Broadstruck. The coin would likely have a value from $1.00 to $3.00 but a few Collectors might pay a little more. Note: Although the coin was slightly Broadstruck, it adds little if any extra value to the coin.
