2 years ago I began working with a company and got to know them well. They own about 400 acres here in Oklahoma that they inherited from their father. They knew him to be frugal and collected every penny he earned and they likewise got this trait. When I began working for them they told me that in the 70's he took each one of them out and buried several jars of silver coins for them that they could retrieve in the future. When I was told this I asked if they retrieved them and they both said they forgot where they were but had a general idea. I, being a metal detectorist, was inclined to help.:laughing7: I have checked out several perspective places over the last couple of winters, cant hunt in summer because of the snakes. Anyway Monday a family member was cleaning a barn and moved a very old chest freezer and underneath that was this. I still believe and they do too that this is just some of what grandpa forgot he had and that the rest remain buried. I will continue to look especially if this is just what he forgot. I got some other mixed coins that I am going thru I will post more pics later. forgot to add there is 211 walking halves and a few morgans that I have found so far in the mix

Yepper, I agree. Those aren't war nickels, just normal composition.
