1921 Morgan 17 Berry grade, attribution, & Value??

I know the Morgan's of this year are common but...maybe mine is "special"

I've it for a few decades, stored in my jewelry box, moved to Oklahoma, & now it has BLACK stuff on it that was not there before! I'm really bummed about that by the way.
I searched Vamworld.com and tried finding a match with mine, but no dice. I'm still new at this so I'm more frustrated than anything!
Some of the Letters and a few small stars could be doubled (L & U of pluribus) (LL of dollar)

OOOH...what are those grooves in the field under her chin Are they Denticle impressions or feeder finger grooves?? LOL

If this is worth the money to have certified/graded/slabbed, then please let me know that as well. If you need more pics just let me know!

I am sorry but there are so many VAM Varieties for the D1 Reverse on the 1921-P Morgan Silver Dollars, that it would be practically impossible to attribute the coin to the correct Variety from pics! The coin would have to be examined in hand and would take a very long time to attribute unless one just stumbled over the correct VAM Variety but even then, it could be a sub-Variety and you still need to narrow it down to which one.

No. With environmental damage, a rim ding, and VF condition there are very few varieties that will overcome cost of coin/cost of grading (vam costs extra)/selling fees. Based on eBay completed auctions, the "thorn head" varieties are the only ones that MIGHT get you a decent return. Otherwise this is an $18 coin.
