From the images I am of the opinion that it is a clipped planchet. While the images are not particularly good, the shape of the clip is consistent with clipped planchets. Please be aware that there are things that can occur post mint that can look similar. I have a few hundred similarly clipped Jefferson nickels. Only a few are post mint damage. Learn the visible characteristics of both and you will do fine.

Google the blakesly effect. It's a good way to determine a clipped planchet vs post mint damage
