what is this Arabic hammered coin?

can anyone help ID this coin? 13 -14 mm diameter and appears to be hammered copper or bronze. Country and year?

Turkey; Ottoman Empire
Islamic date appears to be 1260 (guessing); or about 1844 in 'our' calendar.
The swirls in the left pic are said to be the signature of one of the sultans years ago. He dipped him fingers into the ink and made his mark; called a 'tughra'.
