I picked up a book of buffalo nickels this weekend. Nothing spectacular so I got them pretty cheap. This is in there there though 1913 type two. Looks pretty high grade. On eBay some of the higher grades seem to do pretty well so I thought I would ask before taking it down to the coin place that's not really close to home. Or is it too common of a date? Thank you for your help.

I agree with the above posters; if you are looking to make money, do not slab. If you are looking to preserve the coin for many years, one could think about slabbing. Nice coin!

If you decide to keep it, you might consider a gentle acetone bath for this coin. It should loosen up that crud on the reverse I in FIVE. Note that it may discolor the coin in the spot where the crud was (due to a difference in toning). This is not considered "improper cleaning". If you are going to sell it, then just leave it alone.
