Hello folks, I hope i'm in the right place. I found this coin several years ago rolling around the surf at Myrtle Beach, SC. I suspect it's a replica because the gold has rubbed off in some places and you can see silver under there. But I know absolutely nothing about them so here I am. Thanks for any help.

That's my thought too, but they do give a thrill when you first spot one. Found a fake Netherlands daadler (or however its spelled) a year ago and thought it was a real goodie, but junk.

Thanks guys. OK it's fake but I want to know how to tell it's fake. Does it look to new? The gold plating? etc...
