Without having a specific item in mind, it's impossible to come up with a value. For example, you may have two different quarters, both from the same year and mint, yet each with its own error(s). The value of each will be different. "Actual value" will also fluctuate, as that will be determined at time of sale - ie. what someone is willing to pay for it. And even then, you're limited to the people who 1) see your ad and 2)want what you're selling.

Best thing is to research what other similar coins have been listed AND sold for, then follow accordingly. Just keep in mind that what sells for a lot one week may not get a nibble the next, and vice versa.
