Does anyone have a book or price guide on this coin? I normally would go to the bookstore but they seem to have gone out of business by me and the closest one is kind of far away. Not a whole lot information I found online. One on eBay they're asking over $500 for in this one appears to be in a little bit better condition. Just trying to get a mintage and price value. But it is a Norway 1 Krone 30 Sk 1875.

mintage was 600,000. VF $300, XF- $550, (from NGC site after simple Google search) 80% silver & YUP, that would be rare. throw that King in the water & watch the feeding frenzy :icon_thumright:

Thanks. All I got was euro prices. You would auction it? Start at like $300? Or .99?

That things got some nice detail on the hair and beard still. Nice coin! Did you dig it?

No, I asked this guy two years ago if he had any coins for sale at a yard sale. He called me back this last week, he found my number on a piece of paper that I buy coins. I'm not familiar with foreign silver so I probably owe him some money after all this is sold. Another coin from the same lot sold for $380. I probably left some money on the table but the return was good.

The coin appears to be a decent VF condition-wise and if it were me, I would probably start the coin at $250 and let it ride! If the right Collectors see the coin on eBay, then it will likely fetch over $300 but you don't want to scare potential bidders away.

Did you happen to get an 1878 1 Krone and/or a 1881 and/or 1888 1 Krone? Their' mintages are 60,000... 80,000 and 75,000 respectively and fetch nice prices but the 1878 is the most valuable.

I agree with Huntsman, auction at $250, maybe add a BUYITNOW at $375, then sit back & wait for the sharks to feed :laughing7::dontknow:

There are not completed listings on EBay, so there is really nothing you can base your price off of other than the price guide. The only other one for sale on EBay is in VG condition. The listing is Buy it Now with free shipping and the price is set at $531.00.
