Again it's your eyes seeing what you want them to. That doesn't remotely look like an S. Elements of the design will be raised. That is simply a hit. Not trying to be rude, but I suggest you get a better understanding of the minting process. That way you can know what's possible and what's not. Also do some research and see what errors and varieties look like.

Well error or not the S is in front of the other S that's my point.

Can you at least admit that the mark you believe to be an "s" is not the result of the minting process?

I'm surprised the poster didn't call this coin the "69-s Lincoln booger error" looks like Lincoln has a big booger in the end of his nose in the picture.

And before ICETEK asks if that is an error, I will say it is just a spot where the coin got scratched after it left the mint and therefore NOT AND ERROR.

Alright i believe what your guys are saying but I have the cent in front of me and it's an Exact S like the mint mark one. Any who now that we got that out the way tell me something about that 1982 cent I just posted, I'm guessing it's gonna be just a hit right. ? :D
