Most likely a 2004. Its been skidded on the pavement a little for the damage so you probably have a nick thru the second zero.

Sorry about that... I fired up my time machine and set it for 1964 to bring back some silver coins and the darn thing went to 2064. Just my luck!

Almost looks like it was double struck upside down too.... What we want.... time travel.. when do we want it. it doesn't matter

Yea Cory you should turn off the flash for starters. Its a terrible photo. all we can be certain of from that pic is severe post mint damage.

i am sick to death of those "zinclins" ...have you noticed that when you drop one the sound they make sounds like a plastic coin...time to discontinue the penny...

I actually throw them away. I get more satisfaction tossing one in a lake or out into the grass than I do keeping them in my pocket.

Please don't throw them in the grass. I'm tired of digging them up.
But at least in 50 years they'll have dissolved and our future generations won't have to dig them up.
