1888 Indian Head Penny possible 7/8?

Hello, if anyone could offer insight to verifying/eliminating this particular error I would really appreciate it. It looks like the 7 is protruding from the bottom of the 8 and I think there’s a faint cud mark along the edge by United, but to worn for my eyes. I’m probably just seeing what I want, but maybe you guys who I continually see dropping awesome info and tips have any pointers to confirm or eliminate my curiosity? Thanks for any help...

Do the feathers look worn to the point you couldn’t see that recognition point on the 7th one or is it to close to tell?

Use a camera with macro feature. Shoot about 12 inches away and zoom away

I’m starting to think it may just be a slight nick to the bottom of the 8, at some angles it looks like I can see the cud mark thru the wear, but it’s probably just my eyes seeing what it wants. Thanks for the help, let me know if there’s any angles you’d like...

Sorry Footballman but I just don't see the indicators of a "7" under the "8" in the last digit of the Date! I do see what appears to be a couple of hits on the last "8" which is damage and which can confuse one into thinking it is an Overdate specimen.

If you want to spend less than $20 you can go to ebay and get a usb Microscope/camera, I have $5 in mine and use it to inspect Straight razor edges and anything else I want to see up close up. Has a snapshot button too. Some units can run off a cell phone I think..
