Need Help with Proper Description of Error............

While searching through the 10,000+ Lincoln cents the past 3 weeks, I have come across several coins with this type of damage. I'm posting a picture of this coin because it clearly shows the impression of the "9" of the date in the void. That suggests the damage occurred after the coin was minted.



I'm not sure what term is used to describe this type of damage.......
Is it a lamination error where the weak spot of the planchet came loose and broke away? Or, simply a planchet error? PMD?
I did note the more "shiny" area along the "8", but see no evidence of tool marks.

What does the reverse look like?

Looks like somebody hit it with a punch, corresponding damage on the reverse would confirm it.

penny shows a lot of wear
yet the hole doesn't show the wear - IMO
edges of the hole look crisp

I agree that pics of the Reverse are needed. However, in-focus really close up pics from different angles of the Date showing the damage/error are needed.

I see a 9 in the hole. Reverse side will help in evaluating the coin.
