2005 Kansas D quarter "In d we rust?" (And floating leg bison)

I found this state quater that says "In d we rust." Can anyone tell me is it just worn out, or if it is a grease error? Also it has a floating leg.
I'll attach the picture later.

Hard to say without pics but I would venture that the missing letters in "IN GOD W TRUST" is due to grease. The floating Bison leg is quite possible due to excessive grinding and polishing of the Die.

So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). Looks like it took a hit in that area to me.

looks more like a filled die to me. "In Deed, we rust."

I do not see evidence of Post Mind Damage in the area. If it were, the letters would still be there, but smashed. Better pictures would be nice.
