help identifying a medieval coin

Found this beauty last week and haven't been able to identify it. Does anyone have any tips/pointers? Looks to be silver, around 20 mm in diameter.

I can't help but I am sure that someone will come along and be able to identify it. The Country not region or location where found will likely help with the identification.
