What's on the Reverse ? subway bus ? 1988

A piece of Boston transit history, this "Series of 1988" token was issued by the MBTA. The bearer of a token could use it at the turnstiles to enter a MBTA rapid transit or subway station, or board a light rail vehicle. Each token features the T logo on one side and a stylized rapid transit vehicle on the other. Tokens are sold as is, showing the wear of decades of use. Tokens are not in mint condition. Each token is just over 3/4" in diameter and just under 3/16" thick.

Mass transit token...I've used them (many years ago) in the subway to go through the turn-style gates! :icon_thumleft:
