I have spent alot of time researching this potential error but I can't find anything.
There is a perfectly round dis coloration above the date. I did not try to clean it but I did rub it with my fimgers because I thought it was a spot of dirt, and it did not come off at all and I could feel depth not thickness. Can anyone out help me out?

Thanks 20190731_200819.jpg 20190731_200800.jpg

My default opinion for such discoloration on copper plated zinc is environmental exposure. A small drop of anything that could have even a minor reaction to the thin copper plating will make such a mark. A drop of heavily chlorinated tap water could easily leave such discoloration.

Time for more coffee.
