When I dug this I saw the V right away. After toothpicking it a little I realized that I couldn't find lady liberty or the 13 stars. I know this coin is in bad shape but does anyone have any ideas? I'll have to try and get some better pictures but it definitely has words on the obverse.

Welcome to TNet. Not a “V” nickel. The V isn’t centered enough and the letters on the other side, possibly “EDLOW” don’t match a V nickel. Not sure what it is... possibly a phone token?

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

What kinda diameter are we talking here? Measurement to the tenth of a mm would be best, but will settle for a coin-to-coin comparison.

A soak in hydrogen peroxide will help immensely to reduce the green oxidation.

I'm thinking this is what I have here. It measures the same and I do see Colombia on the obverse. I think a 1944 but it's in terrible shape! This makes the third foreign coin from the 1940's I've found on this farm.
