I just started looking at my dug wheat back pennies and found this. Can anyone tell me if this is a straight clip or an old PMD? I see lots of examples of clips but no instructions on what to look for and how to identify a clip from pmd.

PEA naled it.
The Blakesley on yours is showing up as weakness on the rim opposite from the clip on both sides.

Wow, you guys amaze me! Thanks for the insight on how to identify a clip. I never noticed the weak edge on the other side of the coin (Blakesley affect) until it was brought up here.
How you saw that from the posted photos is mind blowing!
Here is a better picture showing the weak edged opposite the clip.
