Once again I am stumped. Can anyone tell me if this is a possible die clash? I found this in a roll of pennies just a few minutes ago. It might just be PMD but how can I tell?

Here is a picture of another penny sitting on top.

Thanks for all your help.

Sorry, but, I'm not seeing any die clash areas. Just some plating problems.

I’m not sure what it is but what I’m trying to show is The curved line that starts at the top of Lincolns head goes through The ear and ends past the date going through the mint mark. The line has the same curvature and dimensions as a penny shown in the last picture.

Cudamark gave you your answer. Expanding that a bit: environmental issues, with another coin atop yours, causing plating degradation along the curved line in question.

Just another zinclon, starting to rot.

Oh, that....it's just a stain caused by another wet coin that sat on top of it. Die clashes are caused by the obverse die and reverse die hitting each other in the minting process without a planchet in between them. The dies transfer their features to some extent to their counterpart causing subsequent coins to show those features. So in other words, the obverse will show some reverse features, and vice versa.

For me it’s a mystery solved and lesson learned. Thank you so much to both of you for taking the time to respond.

I agree with the above.

Sometimes the moisture causes debris/gunk to stick to the surface making it look like something is raised. You can soak it in acetone to see if it comes off.
