Is this a fake?

I found this in Michigan today- It’s 18mm diameter and 1.5g.
It looks like a King Edward I long Cross.
On my equinox it rang up as a 12-13 or so.
It’s thin- I looked on a lap top microscope and it’s scratched like a coin, sounds like a coin.
How can I find out if it’s real or fake?

Being from Ann Arbor thats an awesome find I hope it is real its hard to tell not having it in hand hope some one can help you Im sure they will. Its about time a Mgander got a sweet coin like that...............Tommy
