Looks like it reads Mali on the bottom of the first coin. In which country did you find the grave.

i do not know its origin, but it is not unheard of for a gold coin to be filed down to remove gold, and doing so would leave those lines like your coin has.

I just can’t get over the fact that I recognize the coin I just can’t figure out where it is from. I do not believe that it says Mali on it as it is a distinct looking и

I would not recommend digging into gravesites.....even for treasures.
