Double check the reverse. I think it was in 2000 the date was in much smaller letters under the bust of the Queen

Correction... In 2002, in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's golden jubilee, the date of all Canadian coins was temporarily moved to the obverse, just under the queen's neck. They all read "1952-2002". The area where the date normally would have been is left blank.

If you're coin is like that, then it's normal. If not, then you have a serious rarity.

well i found this and it was very green on the queen side the dates that are there was almost invisible thanks for the reply and now i feel REALLY dumb .
