Mint error or packing damage?

Last year I bought several dollar rolls from my local bank. The only two rolls that had the reverse side of the coin showing had the same damage/error (across the face, arm, hand, and the 1). The rest of the rolls all had the obverse side of the coin shown and none of them show any damage/error. I've looked on-line and have never seen any dollar coins reported with this issue and I'm uncertain if I want to open the rolls to check the rest of the coins inside the rolls. What are your thoughts, does these coins look damaged or do they look like they were stuck in error? My guess is damage, but I'm uncertain why all the other rolls show no damage except the two that had the reverse side of the coin showing.

This would almost always be attributed to the machines that wrap your coins in the paper roll. Whenever you pick up some rolls of coins, it is not uncommon to see these types of marks on some of the coins. Why on some and not on others?? I dunno.. Good luck to you, Gpurs...

that's a shame -
don't crack the roll to check out the rest of the coins
you need to hold on to the roll value - uncirculated
