I would agree with your grade assessment of AU-55 based solely on the detail of the coin. However, this is not the grade the coin merits. The coin appears to be in a PCGS slab, and I'm guessing you don't agree with the grade (probably AU50). However, I believe that, due to the ugly black toning (carbon spots?) and lack of luster, the grade should be AU-50.

its not in a PCGS case, i had one that was graded already and i was using for comparison then i took the picture on top of the case of the graded coin.

Oh, well in that case, I give it a grade of AU-50, but I wouldn't try to get it slabbed because it's most likely going to get body bagged for environmental damage or altered surfaces.
