I'm doing better at the coinstar than detecting this month.

For the second time this month I have found a Rosie with some Canadian coins rejected from the coinstar machine!
This beats my last two MD'ing hunts, best finds were an IH and a wheat cent. :what:

Congrats, at least with metal detecting you get exercise and fresh air !

I used to kill it coin roll hunting... just got tired of dumping all the coins and stuff

I had similar luck at Wally World yesterday. Wife was having an eye exam and I wandered out on the floor and found a "Coin spill". Quarter, nickel and two cents. I think they moved something from the wall and they were left there.

It ALL counts! For you see, this hobby, Treasure Hunting, entails much, much more than simply MD-ing.
Congrats and good job for keeping a watchful eye!

I do enjoy my detecting time, it's peacefull, and I like finding stuff. I was thrilled to get an IH, I figured the silver may show up too...I just never figured it would be from a coinstar machine! Lol!
I will take it where I find it!

I too will scoop up coins I find laying on the ground when I'm out shopping, nothing wrong with that, and a coin spill is a treat!
Thanks for the comments.

WHAFIFIND- if I keep my eyes peeled any harder for goodies laying on the ground, I'm gonna scare somebody!
The finds have improved this year for sure.

Yeah, but how many lumps do you have on the top of your head from running into lamp posts? LOL
Keep at it! :)
