That's what hammers are for! :laughing7:

You-betcha! I needed the Coinstar Machine to screen out the undesirables first, then then they will be recycled.

The first time I dumped dug coins in the machine, I dumped a bunch of bad ones... the first grocery store could not figure out how to fix the machine, after I jammed it up. The second grocery store had to fix the machine twice before I was completed.

I sort out the damaged zinc cents now... it's easier on ME that way.

I wash the clad I dig in vinegar for a few minutes then rinse it good. Cleans it well enough. No jams in the coinstar today but I did sort out the crusty zincolins first. 6 months of digging got me $113.23. More than enough to get that RnB AT rechargable battery and say goodbye to AA's. I love this hobby. :happysmiley:

Ok....wait a minute.
Forgive me, but I just had a thought.....an epiphany if you will....

So, Canadian coinstars reject rotten coins, eh?
Do they reject American coinage?....as my coinstars down here reject Canadian coins....hmmm.....
