Image (41).jpg It's still too cold to hunt so I'm depending on the Coinstar machines for a little fun. Today I found silver #6 for the year, a 1945 silver Canadian dime.

Grats! I haven't snagged a silver from the ol' coinstar since Halloween 2017 when I got my first and only silver quarter. I'm DUE! lol

Huh! I walk by a grocery store change machine all the time and never think to look in it. I guess my mind is more on looking for items on the shopping list handed to me by my wife with a few items on it I'm totally unfamiliar with finding. She sure can pick some challenging items to find. When like always they ask at the checkout, did you find everything okay, I sometimes have to say, No I did not.:icon_scratch:

Nice going on the Kennedy.....the Coinstars seem to run in streaks both hot and cold.

Start checking them...eventually you'll score a few coins. When they ask me if I found everything OK I tell them that I found everything except the bucket of hundred dollar bills they're giving away.

I got a 59 rosie and a 43 wheatie steel cent yesterday at Walmart.
Thats only my second silver from coinstar...both were dimes.
Most of the time the silver coins ARE dimes. Congrats on the dime and steel cent.

It has been a long time since I found silver in my coinstar, our local one hasn't coughed up anything but clad and euros here lately.

I got another Euro today, along with memorial cents and some clad. Have been getting small handfuls of modern and foreign coins but little silver. My wife found a silver dime a month ago at a coinstar and the next day, I found one. Haven't found a silver quarter in a coinstar since January - when I found one on three different occasions.
