Whenever I enter the grocery store where I usually shop, I casually pass by the CoinStar machine. Most of the time the reject bin is empty but, now and then, I get a little jingle. Yesterday was jingle day.

While not a retirement-fund builder, I found a few pennies, most of which were zincolns ... you know, useless coins. Amid the dissolving pennies was a 1928-S wheatie. Again, not a fortune, but it did make my grocery store visit more fun.

If it ever cools down here a bit, I'm going to drag my detector out to one of my permissions but, until we are well out of the 90's, I'll be studying maps and making plans.

Congrats! Still haven't found much in the Coinstar reject slot. Here's the only Wheaties I find when visiting the grocery store...
