A little background on your piece. Since you said that it was from 1902, this spoon would have been issued as a keepsake or token of respect, etc., on his death. He was assasinated in 1901. It definately doesn't have the value of a spoon that would have been issued during a campaign for office, or even one issued while in office. As a collectible item, it's probably in the under $50 range. I think that that is still more than what the silver value of the spoon would be. Items issued as rememberences, just don't have as much value as the items that are true campaign pieces do.
