    STP SIGN???

Any of you car buffs seen a STP sign like this? I cant find any info about it at all.It was given to me years ago by a guy that worked in the pits at Indy. The sad thing is his wife destroyed all his stuff from the 50s.

    Re: STP SIGN???

    Hi AA,

Weren't those hung from a rod that mounted to a wall or post on the pump island?

Check www.stp.com. They should be able to ID it for you. BTW if you contact them by phone, ask for some of their promo stickers posters etc. They used to be quite generous!
I know it's here, just need a bigger coil!

    Re: STP SIGN???

Sometimes called an "STP Studebaker" sign...it was also used as part of an oil rack display:

They also used a similar design for the "German Developed" sign in 1962:

Another one like yours is listed in a picture below it; however, the link won't work (to post here) and shows as "sold".
