Pueblo area

Howdy,

Haven't made a post in over a year.

Live in Security, and have traveled to the Denver area, in the past, to do some prospecting, mostly highbanking, but the drive gets old fast. Anyone hunt the Pueblo area? This is much closer than going to Denver, though Denver is fairly famous for gold. Recently the BLM has changed it's policy on using motorized equipment and no longer allows them on the Arkansas. Does this river flow through Pueblo, and does anyone know of dried up rivers or streams in the area? Thanks.

Isn't access to most, if not all of it, fenced off or on private property? I live just east of fountain creek, and it's only a few minutes drive which would make it most convenient.
