Anyone going out this weekend 3/8-3/9???

Hello all...

I also posted a response in "Clubs & friends/Colorado" forum..

I am looking for some people to go detecting with. I am by far no expert and still fairly new to detecting(2-3 years) but really enjoy it very much. I use a Prizm II and have learned it pretty well so far. I am looking to upgrade and give the Prizm to the wife . I am in the Aurora area but am willing to to travel LOL . I do hit the local playgrounds/parks, but have been doing some research on some other areas for this spring/summer....

Probably not, but I went to the Aurora Resevoir last weekend and searched the sand beach and didn't find much, couple quarters, and nickles, and lead fishing weights. No jewelry like I was hoping for.

I think another good spot to try out is that Aurora Sports Park where they have all those soccer fields off of Colfax and Dunkirk.

I went out today for an hour or so and found about $2 in coins...Good for 1/2 gal. gas LOL

Got cold when the sun started falling... the ground was thawed but my hands were frozen...

I have a crazy schedule with my work.
LeeAnn and I got out to a few school play grounds and city parks last weekend.
The ground is starting to thaw around here.
We could dig to about 4" with no problem.
Came home with a few cool items.
It should be an early spring so let's get out.
