Naming of an Indian Child
Sitting around the evening dinner fire, a child asked his father, "Father, how are children named?"
"Well son," the father stated, "The naming of a child is a very sacred act performed by the father of a new born child. Following birth, the father wraps the child in cloth and take it outside and looks up at the sky. The child is lifted high and is named after the first thing that comes to the fathers attention".
"Why do you ask, Two-Dogs-Ahumping?"
The more one learns the more he understands his ignorance. I am simply an ignor ant man trying to lessen his ignorance Those with the most birthdays live the longest

Re: Naming of an Indian Child
I'm not trying to be policially incorrect or anything, but this reminds me of the old joke of how the Chinese name their children.
They drop the drawer of silverware on the floor and name them what it sounds like.

Isn't this a line from "The Redneck 12 days of Christmas"?
