SKorean woman passes driver's exam on 950th try
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- A woman in South Korea who tried to pass the written exam for a driver's license with near-daily attempts since April 2005 has finally succeeded on her 950th time.
What are the Odds it could be Passed in Less tries
without Understanding Korean ?
Re: SKorean woman passes driver's exam on 950th try
In 1970's and 80's in Westminster California, first-time driver training immigrant Vietnamese drivers could be found driving 25 MPH in the freeway fast lanes (posted 65 MPH)...
A definite change from a bicycle culture...
The more one learns the more he understands his ignorance. I am simply an ignor ant man trying to lessen his ignorance

My mom still likes to tell the story of when she got her first drivers license..."I walked into the court house, told them I had just turned 16, paid $.50 and they gave me my license." No pictures taken back then. If only dealing with the gov't. was still that simple.

I actually had a similar experience just 4 days ago. I had to renew my license, but opted to drive to a nearby town with a smaller DMV, but a smaller poopulation as well. I walked in and they only had two tellers working, each with one person in front of them. I took a number and sat down, and had no more time to open up a magazine then they called my number. I walked up to the counter, told them what I was there to do, paid $34 for an 8 year renenwal, took a 1-line eye test, had a new picture shot, and then she handed me my temporarly license. I was in the office for no more than 7 minutes, tops.
We all know there's no such thing as a "hunted out" location. Let's stop using that phrase to describe a park out of which you just dug a pile of coins! Obviously that particular place wasn't "hunted out", right?
