That IS funny. Why buy next to a pig farm if you find it objectionable.

That's like the town not far from me that some swindeling builder bought property next to a huge nursery that supplied manure to farmers and such.
Once the people bought into their half million dollar houses they started to complain of the smell from the nursery and actually tried to sue the owner of the nursery.
The nursery owner won. He simply stated..."I was here first, You didn't have to live there!"

Sometimes real life is funnier than jokes.
