A good, but tasteless joke :)

Joe needed a job to earn some money so he could return home to NJ, from CA. No job was beneath Joe, and he applied for several until he saw a sign on a bar, "Help Wanted". Joe entered the establishment and met with the owner who explained the bartenders job to him. At first Joe was a bit reluctant, especially with no training, or experience.

The owner explained that this was a special bar, a mute bar and all the regular customers were handicapped. The bar also just served 2 drinks, beer, or whiskey. If a patron held up one finger he wanted a beer, two fingers he wanted a whiskey. Joe thought it was easy enough to handle and accepted the job, hoping to make enough money in a week to return home.

That night Joe started. The bar wasn't busy at first, but the crowd grew as the night went on. Joe was great, serving beers and whiskeys with great speed and efficiency. The owner would pop his head in from time to time to see how Joe was doing and then return to his paperwork in the back office.

As the night wore on Joe saw more and more gathering in the back of the bar signing away like crazy. Joe not knowing what was happening went back to serving drinks hands, over fist. Getting closer to closing time, Joe noticed that almost everyone was in the back signing away like crazy. Not knowing what was happening, or what to do; Joe ran into the back and old the manager.

As they both walked into the bar everyone was now around the large table signing away like no tomorrow. Joe said, "See I told you something was happening."

Without missing a beat the owner said, "Yeah, you got them all drunk and now they are singing."
