FIRST question... IS THIS FOR REAL?

Thanks for the question, Reb. In order to gather the facts relating to your question we had to gain entry into a few guarded facilities, or "gated communities", if you know what I mean. Once inside we are able to tap into some of the most fascinating and dedicated minds in the world and this is basically what we discovered;

"Real"...first we have to define, "real". This, of course, is very subjective in nature, as what appears to be "real" to one individual may appear as nothing more then a complete manifestation of that individual's mind by others who consider the related information to be nothing more then complete hogwash. In both cases the conclusions are considered to be, "very real". So you see, in many circumstances what is perceived to be "real" is simply a frame of mind, even when it is obvious to others that it is indeed complete and utter hogwash.

And there you have it. I hope this TE answer has afforded you, and others, a bit of truth and insight today.

The Nobel Peace Prize medal depicts three naked men with their hands on each other's shoulders!

------------Who are these naked men and why are they frolicking on the back of a medal?

Thank you for your interesting question, farmerchick. Actually, most people don't realize this medal was originally minted in error, the error being made with the word, "Peace" which was originally suppose to be, "Piece". However, the current presentation caught on so well the original designers decided to simply go with the flow and never risked making the correction. Sources tell us that the three naked men on the back of the medal were simply depictions of three future Penn State Football coaches.

Actually the 3 naked men on the medal posed for the casting while attending the Woodstock concert back in the 60's. They were loaded and dancing to a tune being played on a flute by a wasted hippie who was also naked. It just all begs the question though; if there are 3 naked men on the Peace Prize Medal, 3 Blind Mice, 3 Wise Men, 3 Stooges, 3 Little Pigs and 3 Strikes and Your Out, not to mention Goldilocks and The 3 Bears, how come only 1 Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?? Scoop? ? ?

packerbacker, a most interesting question, to be sure. Thanks for asking. But the answer might actually be answered with the following question; "Ever try to fly?"

True scoop, that's why only 1 flew over the cuckoo's nest, the other 2 couldn't fly!! Damn, you're good!
I know none of the pigs could fly unless they were very small and had assistance from a hungry bald eagle.
This thread is going to be a very popular place on T-Net, this is like a journey to Mecca!!

I have a question . . .

Where do deleted threads go?

Some have said they go off into the cybershpere and really continue to exist but are just invisible or hidden.

Others say they go off to a place of torture where moderators inflict pain on them by altering their text markup unmercifully day and night.

Still others say they go off to a "Utopia" where they are revered and can be openly discussed by those in that alternate universe.
