As he was quietly watching t.v. at home, a man hears a
sound on the roof of his house & rushes out to investigate.
Seeing it was a fair sized gorilla tearing shingles off his roof.
He promptly calls the local zoo to inform them one of their animals had escaped. He is told that a gorilla recovery unit is on the way & to remain calm.
A few minutes later, an old beat up truck, displaying the "Gorilla
Recovery Unit' logo on it's panels, pulls up to the house.
The elderly driver proceeds to recover from the back of the truck,
a chihuaha dog, a pair of handcuffs, a ladder, a baseball bat, & a
12 guage shotgun.
Puzzled on how this lone elderly was to solve the problem of this
gorilla, he ask's what was the procedure?
As he hands him the shotgun, the zoo employee explains the plan, "First i'll climb up there with the ladder, knock him off with the bat, as soon as he hits the ground, the specially trained dog will
attack his private parts. When I get back on the ground , the gorilla
will have lowered his hands,protecting his groin, & I can slip on the cuffs.
"But what about the shotgun"? the owner said, "Well it's just a
precaution in case the gorilla knocks me off, shoot the dog".
