Ha ha!

IMO the scene before that one was just as funny.

Nobody did race jokes better than Mel Brooks. Remember the Indians speaking German, saying "aye! They darker than us?!!"

If Blazing Saddles don't tickle you some then you probably have some complex issues, IMO.

Mel Brooks is an absolute genius. I forget the year but I remember this came out with Shampoo and All the Presidents Men. This is not a movie you could make today but Mel pulled it off back then by convincing all of the Executives that he wasn't profiling races because he was making fun of EVERY race. Which he did and did brilliantly :) This movie still brings me to tears

Edited too much.

I Don't think That scene Is Edited.
I could be Wrong, But I Don't think So.

The Movie unfortunate Gets censored to the point all the funny Parts are gone
on Most TV stations.

I Only watch it where it is Not censored

I spend a lot of time on Youtube for entertainment.

I watch a movie just about every single night there. Sometimes you get lucky and they're gone fairly quickly, otherwise it is a treasure trove of old movies, and even some fairly recent ones.

HAHA...That's a hilarious movie! Great Clip!

Funny Story...My Mom tells me that she and my Dad are going to the movies to see a new western that's out and Dad wants to see it..Usually I went with them to the movies but she said I wasn't old enough to see this one...I'm like huh? A Western??

Mom says, I don't know why a western is Rated R, but it is. She says it's called Blazing Saddles.

The next day at breakfast I ask how was the movie? Total Silence from both of them but Mom is trying not to laugh. I find out at school what the movie was really like...LOL! Later when I saw it I could only imagine what they were thinking while watching it..

My parents are pretty conservative so it was so funny that they went to what he thought by the title was like a John Wayne type of movie!

I don't know what you call conservative but I know what was in the theaters at the time because My parents took us to the movies (a rare event) they took us to Shampoo. 10 minutes in I get to see a first set of jubilees slipping into a jacuzzi and my Parents are escorting the line of kids out of the movie. We walk across the hall to anotherr movie called Blazing Saddles and get to watch up to the beans at the camp fire scene and are marched out of this movie into All the Presidents men... I got a partial triple header that day. Since then I have seen All the presidents Men twice. Blazing Saddles about 50 100 million times and can't say that I have ever seen Shampoo in its entirety If I am missing something someone Please let me know?

When I was a Kid 12, 13, 14. there was a Movie Theater 4 Mile from me in Tremont.

Back then we Would Go once a week.

My Favorites were the R Rated Movies.
of Course Back then I believe the Designation was M for Mature not R
I knew what I Liked & all pretty Women have 2 Of Them to share with Young Boys
in movies:laughing7:
So if the Preview Suggested Pretty women & the Rating was M,
on the Way home I'd Tell my Mom, "I wanna see that Movie When it Comes"
of course when it did, I always made a Straight Line to the Front row :laughing7:

Mom Asked me about that once,
All I could think was "Daaah ? :hello2:"

I am one of 11 kids, there were 8 of us at the movies plus the peeps who were devote Christians. I am sure it looked like they were evacuating the theatre. God bless em but they never took us to another movie. Can you believe the Filth? in the movies today Half fainting. When I got older I never told my parents I was going to the movies to avoid this lecture. Jeff You HAVE to see AIRPLANE You will laugh what is left of your backside right off.

You can find Blazing Saddles unedited on DVD easy in thrift stores & pawn shops. The pawn shops usually have it in the ten for $2 bins. Definitely a huge difference between the original & what we see now! Anyone able to tell me how bad Airplane was edited?

When it came out a bunch of were on leave & decided to go see it after a hard evening of drinking. Laughed so hard I (god as my witness) I pulled a muscle between two ribs! The corpsman confirmed it! My suggestion? Don't watch it when drunk or stoned. Did I mention mixing lime yogurt with cottage cheese & sitting behind a bunch of school girls slurping it while watching The Exorcist? The looks on their faces as they ran for the head was almost better than the movie! The look on the theater managers face as he escorted us out telling us not to come back wasn't so cool, or the glare we got from the user wiping down the women's restroom door could've killed...........
