Contest Thread : GPS Contest Win a Free GPS Unit, Software and a book!

Ted and I have decided the internet prospecting community needs a new contest so we thought one up and best of all its no cost to you

    We'll even pay the shipping

    There will be a winner!

    What the winner will receive:

A Garmin Etrex GPS unit value = $149.00

National Geographic Backroads 3D Software value = $50.00

Placer Gold Deposits of Arizona by Maureen G. Johnson value = $8.95

    What are the requirements?

You must be a member of Arizona Gold Prospectors forum and of the GoldPlacer.com blogs.
An email address is required to join both sites.
We are not collecting email addreses.
If that is a concern of yours get a free email account at http://www.hotmail.com or http://www.hushmail.com or similar, use it to join and activate your membership and never use that email address again

The reason why you need to join the forum/blog is that you will have to post your answers on the Arizona Gold Prospectors forum and some clues may require Gold Placer Blogs membership to view the clues and so the contest results can be tracked by all

This is a points based contest.

There will be questions to answer, clues to look for and more!

Clues could be anywhere on either website, arizonagoldprospectors.com or goldplacer.com or on minloc.com, or any other site we choose to include

The first person to hit 50 points wins, the contest will run for 60 days.
If no one reaches 50 points the person with the most points wins on day 60
In the event of a tie a tie breaker question will be posed and the first person to answer wins
Questions could be worth 1 point, 5 points or 8 points, so even if you join in the contest late you still have a chance

Someone will win - might as well be you

There will be a thread on the Arizona Gold Prospectors forum for the contest.
When you know the answer to a question or clue post it on that thread.
The first poster for each question, clue, etc. with the correct answer wins a point and the points will be publicly displayed and tracked
TOR users and prospecting equipment dealers cannot participate.
