Informal get together at Danbury Fair Mall (Connecticut)

My son and I were talking and remarked that it might be a fun thing to have regular get togethers of metal detectorists maybe twice a month. It would be fun to talk over our finds, detectors, compare notes and techniques in a relaxed atmosphere without starting a structured metal detecting club. Starbucks in the Danbury Fair Mall has a raised stage type area that will seat about twelve people. Good highway access, plenty of parking, a free place to meet, and refreshments available. Anybody in western CT or southeastern N.Y. interested? Joe

Don't know when you posted this but I'm in Brookfield and a get together sounds like fun. I'm a newbie. I've only gone out twice with my kids.

I can't remember the name but there is a Metal Detecting club around our area. They came to Woodstock CT and had a meeting once.
