I'm just getting into metal detecting and will be purchasing a Fisher F4 shortly. I have always been fascinated with artifact and treasure hunting since I was a kid. I live in Litchfield Country and was wondering if there are any good places around here to cover. Also what are the laws pertaining to State owned land. I read somewhere you can only take objects off the surface and at the beach any rings or personal objects have to be turned in to the beach management, is this true?
